Mochakk

Under the name Mochakk, Pedro Maia, born in 1999 in Sorocaba, Brazil, has built a trajectory rooted in house and tech‑house, with forays into techno, hip‑hop and Latin rhythms that also feed his DJ sets. Trained early on in instruments and later in mixing, he began playing as a teenager around São Paulo before releasing his first productions in the early 2020s. Mochakk circulated tracks such as "Caribbean Queen" with Haas in 2020, "Inflación" in 2021, and then "Da Fonk" with Joni and "False Need" in 2022, on labels like Nervous and Black Book. His international exposure accelerated in 2022, the year he debuted at DC‑10 in Ibiza with Circoloco and launched his label MOTRAXX. In 2023, Mochakk racked up dates across clubs and festivals, launched the Mochakk Calling event series in several cities and released "Jealous", followed by collaborations like "Secret" with Breaking Beattz and "NO8DO" with Fernando Ouro. In 2024 he released the EPs Locomotiva Ibiza 2099 I and Locomotiva Ibiza 2099 II on Circoloco Records, while continuing a DJ path that blends percussive house, funk grooves and a highly rhythmic dancefloor construction.
