Hervé

Born in 1991, Hervé Le Sourd, known simply as Hervé, is a French singer-songwriter and producer whose music sits between electronic chanson and contemporary pop. Before his solo project, he was part of the Franco‑British duo Postaal in the mid-2010s, where he honed a taste for synthetic textures and club‑inspired rhythms. From 2018 he has been developing work under his own name in French, blending spoken‑sung vocals, straightforward melodies and pared‑down electronic arrangements. The EP Mélancolie FC, released in 2019, established this sonic identity, followed in 2020 by the album Hyper, which delves into a more intimate register—between everyday vignettes, danceable energy and melancholic touches. In 2022 Hervé released Intérieur vie, continuing his exploration of a minimal pop centered on keyboards, rhythmic loops and personal songwriting. On stage, he translates these compositions into a format where electronics support an intimate, confiding vocal delivery, gradually carving out Hervé’s place in the contemporary French chanson landscape.
