Renan Luce
Born in 1980 in Paris and raised in Brittany, Renan Luce belongs to the tradition of the French singer-songwriter, with a pronounced taste for everyday stories and characters sketched in a few strokes. Settling in Paris in the early 2000s, he first attracted attention on stage before releasing his debut album, "Repenti", in 2006, which anchors his style between acoustic song, folk influences and nods to popular forms such as the waltz or the narrative ballad. He followed in 2009 with "Le Clan des miros", then "D'une tonne à un tout petit poids" in 2014, where his writing opened up to the personal while retaining a strong social-observation dimension, and released an eponymous album, "Renan Luce", in 2019. Often surrounded by a tight group of musicians, the artist develops on stage a format close to the acoustic concert, focused on voice and lyrics. Alongside his own records, Renan Luce takes part in collective projects from the Francophone scene and in several film soundtracks, helping to gradually place his repertoire in a landscape where storytelling and melodic clarity play a central role.
