The Struts

Trained in Derby, in the English Midlands, The Struts bring together Luke Spiller, Adam Slack, Jed Elliott and Gethin Davies around a rock sound that draws on glam rock, hard rock and arena pop, with catchy choruses, a strong sense of melody and a stage aesthetic inherited from 1970s- and 1980s-British rock. The band formed in the early 2010s around the partnership between Spiller and Slack, then began to make a mark on British stages before quickly expanding its activities internationally. After the Kiss This EP in 2014, The Struts released Everybody Wants that same year, followed by Young & Dangerous in 2018, where their songwriting opened more toward a smoother rock production with touches of pop. Strange Days appeared in 2020, featuring several guests, including Robbie Williams and Albert Hammond Jr., in a more collaborative format, before Pretty Vicious in 2023. Over the course of touring, The Struts have opened for bands such as the Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, The Who, Foo Fighters or Mötley Crüe, a path that accompanied their enduring foothold on the British, European and North American rock circuits. Between glam energy, direct guitars and a contemporary approach to classic rock, The Struts develop a repertoire thought as much for the stage as for more radio-friendly rock formats.
