Sébastien Tellier
Sébastien Tellier is an electronic musician born in 1975 in Paris. Despite a Jesus-like or Jehovah’s Witness–style appearance, he is a talented artist who released his debut album «L’incroyable vérité» at the age of 26. With that record he performed a number of concerts and opened for the band Air. Spotted by Sofia Coppola, he also contributed to the soundtrack of the 2004 film «Lost in Translation». After the success of the album «Politics» (2004), which led to concerts in the United States, he represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with the song «Divine». An enigmatic figure, Tellier became a leading name in French electropop thanks to the albums «Sexuality», produced in 2008 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, and «My God Is Blue» (2012). This French musical oddity continued his career and was booked in 2013 for numerous European festivals such as Rock Island Festival and Sonar Festival.
