Quinn Sullivan

Quinn Sullivan is an American guitarist and singer, born in 1999 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He first situates himself within the blues‑rock tradition before broadening his songwriting toward contemporary pop and soul. Discovered at a very young age on the local scene, Quinn Sullivan became known beyond his region through appearances on American television programs and subsequently developed an ongoing artistic relationship with Buddy Guy, who invited him into the studio and onto the stage during his international tours. From the 2010s onward, Quinn Sullivan built a career as a singer‑songwriter, alternating between club dates, theatre shows and festivals, notably on the blues and rock circuits. His early albums Cyclone (2011) and Getting There (2013) remain firmly rooted in electric blues, while Midnight Highway (2017) introduces greater pop coloration and more prominent vocal melodies. With Wide Awake (2021), Quinn Sullivan asserts a more pronounced shift toward modern pop‑rock, incorporating soul elements and song constructions oriented to an indie format, while retaining guitar work derived from the blues.
