Ben Poole

Active on the contemporary British blues-rock scene, Ben Poole has developed since the late 2000s a career focused on guitar and vocals, combining the legacy of electric blues with pop-rock songwriting. Most often leading a trio, he structures his concerts around extended instrumental passages and tighter songs, alternating originals with a few covers incorporated into his repertoire. His blues-rock leans toward a modern aesthetic, marked by soul touches and accessible vocal melodies, while maintaining a significant role for improvisation and dynamic variation. After several self-produced recordings and a regular presence on the club and festival circuits in the UK and Europe, Ben Poole released the album Time Has Come in 2016, followed by Anytime You Need Me in 2018, which continued in the studio the balance between electric energy and more constructed song formats. Ben Poole continues to tour extensively, often in small line-ups, refining a style in which guitar work remains at the core of his musical identity.
