Rampue

Born in Karl-Marx-Stadt, today Chemnitz, under the name Daniel Krajnyak, Rampue moved as a child to Wetzlar after the fall of the Wall before developing a practice of electronic production very early, which began in adolescence. His path became clearer from 2007, when he connected with Plemo and the Hamburg scene around the Audiolith label, where Rampue works both solo and in collaboration, notably with Plemo, Ira Atari or Egotronic, while also making remixes. Based in Berlin since 2012, Rampue has developed an aesthetics situated between electro, deep house, melodic techno, and electronic pop, with a marked taste for soft textures, rounded basslines, airy synthetic motifs and club-oriented rhythms without being front-facing. His discography includes Elektronische Tanzmusik (2007), Love Hate Peace Fuck with Plemo (2008), Just Fu**in Dance It with Ira Atari (2010), then Tragweite (2022) and Bubblebath Trance (2023). This trajectory is also found across several EPs and singles, including Mama was a Progrocker and Let’s Be Kids Again (2013) or Wilderness (2014). In DJ sets as in live performances, Rampue moves between the dancefloor and more narrative formats, with a writing that links the house heritage, German electro culture, and ambient-inspired melodies.
