Palace

Formed in London in 2012, Palace plays British alternative rock with indie overtones, driven by supple guitars, melancholic atmospheres and often restrained vocals. The band was initially built around Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner, Matt Hodges and Will Dorey, with an early series of short releases—Lost in the Night in 2014 and Chase the Light in 2015—that established a songwriting approach focused on textures and shifts in intensity. Palace moved to the long format with So Long Forever in 2016, followed by Life After in 2019. After Will Dorey left in 2017, Palace continued for a time as a trio, then added Harry Deacon on bass from 2018. The band's discography expanded with the EPs The Hoxa Sessions and Someday, Somewhere in 2020, the albums Shoals in 2022 and Ultrasound in 2024, and the EPs Part I - When Everything Was Lost and Part II - Nightmares & Ice Cream in 2023. On stage, Palace has alternated between headlining tours and major festivals, including appearances at Glastonbury in 2016 and 2019 and at Coachella in 2024.
