Ethan Regan

Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and raised mostly in Charlotte, Ethan Regan has been building an alternative folk world with experimental edges since the late 2010s, driven by spare songwriting and production he shapes himself as a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. His approach blends a very stripped-down singer-songwriter core with influences from rock, hip-hop and funk, in songs where the voice remains front and center and arrangements often advance through minimal touches. Ethan Regan released his first single in 2019, then the EPs Exist. and Sixty Miles on Seventy-Seven in 2020, before the album parlor. in 2021. In 2023 tracks like durham, my fault, wildflowers and secrecy circulated widely on TikTok and accompanied the release of the EP we could’ve done this together. Ethan Regan continued in 2024 with the EP timbuktu and the single peach tree. On stage he has also opened dates for Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chelsea Cutler and Jeremy Zucker, in a format that extends the direct, intimate nature of his songs.
