Møme
Born in Nice in 1989, Jérémy Souillart produces under the name Møme a melodic electronic sound that blends chillwave, sun-soaked pop, light house and downtempo textures. Active since the mid-2010s, Møme first drew attention with the Eclipse EP in 2014 and Cosmopolitan in 2015, before widening his audience with the Aloha EP in 2016, driven by the track “Aloha” recorded with Australian singer Merryn Jeann. That collaboration kicked off a period defined by a taste for short formats, guest vocalists and compositions aimed at airy, flexible and highly melodic atmospheres. Møme then released the album Panorama in 2016, built around travel electronics, danceable rhythms and Balearic influences, followed by Shelter (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) in 2019, a score that reveals a more cinematic, instrumental side of his work. Alongside his albums he has released numerous singles, remixes and collaborations — notably with Petit Biscuit, Isaac Delusion, The Geek x Vrv, Izzy Bizu and Ricky Ducati, with whom he recorded the album Flashback FM in 2021. On stage as well as in the studio, Møme belongs to a French electronic scene attentive to the intersections of club, pop and atmospheric music.
