M.A.N.D.Y.

Born in Berlin at the beginning of the 2000s, M.A.N.D.Y. brings together Patrick Bodmer and Philipp Jung around a house and techno line marked by electro house, with a taste for stripped grooves, clean basslines and a writing geared as much toward the club as listening. The duo appeared in 2002 and quickly established themselves in the German electronic scene by co-founding the Get Physical Music label with Booka Shade and DJ T., an important structure of the Berlin house revival of that period. M.A.N.D.Y. was broadly identified with the track Body Language in 2005, then developed a path mixing original productions, remixes and DJ activities on international club circuits. Their discography includes notably Put Put Put (2002), Body Language (2005), the compilation At the Controls (2006), Fabric 38 (2008), Renaissance: The Mix Collection (2009) and the album Double Fantasy (2016). Over the years, M.A.N.D.Y. has also worked within the orbit of artists like Booka Shade, while maintaining an aesthetic centered on minimal, sensual, precise house, inherited from the Frankfurt and Berlin scenes. In 2026 the death of Philipp Jung marks a turning point in the history of M.A.N.D.Y.
