Klingande

Klingande is the stage name of Cédric Steinmyller, who from northern France develops a melodic house style that sits between deep house and tropical house, with a marked taste for piano lines, luminous textures and saxophone motifs. Born in Croix, he launched the project in 2012 with Edgar Catry as a duo that quickly attracted attention with the singles 'Punga' and then 'Jubel' in 2013, before becoming a solo project in 2014 when Steinmyller continued alone. Klingande positioned itself within a European electronic scene driven by accessible, melodic productions focused as much on the song format as on the club. Over the years Klingande multiplied vocal collaborations and crossovers with electronic pop, notably on 'Riva (Restart the Game)' in 2015 with Broken Back, 'Losing U' in 2016, 'Somewhere New' in 2016 with M-22, and 'Ready for Love' in 2019 with Joe Killington and Greg Zlap. This period culminated in 'The Album', released in 2019. Remaining active on festival stages and in international dance circuits, Klingande has since followed a trajectory centered on a soft, melodic electronic sound open to acoustic influences.
