Earthside

Formed in the New Haven region of Connecticut, Earthside develops cinematic progressive metal that blends atmospheric rock, orchestral textures and extended compositions conceived as musical narratives. The American quartet drew attention with A Dream in Static (2015), a debut album that set out Earthside’s method: a dense instrumental foundation open to guest vocal contributions and sharp contrasts between heavy passages, ambient respites and melodic surges. After several years of writing, recording and performing on prog‑metal stages, Earthside released Let the Truth Speak (2023), which features, among others, Daniel Tompkins, AJ Channer, Larry Braggs, Keturah and Pritam Adhikary as guests. Earthside’s music eschews the conventional song format in favor of evolving structures where progressive metal intersects with post‑rock, orchestral rock and a strongly narrative approach to arrangements. In doing so the band occupies a distinctive space between a live act, a collective composition project and a welcoming framework for voices from diverse backgrounds.
