Born in Haltom City, in the suburbs of Fort Worth, Texas, Cody Jinks has gradually established himself as a prominent singer‑songwriter on the American independent country scene. Initially a guitarist in a local thrash metal band in the early 2000s, he steadily shifted his work toward a country sound informed by classic Nashville tones and Texas heritage, blending slow ballads, mid‑tempo tracks and touches of southern rock.
