Carly Pearce

Born in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, Carly Pearce developed an early grounding in American country, drawing on gospel, bluegrass, and the Nashville sound. As a teenager, she performed daily at Dollywood, gaining her first stage experience before moving to Nashville to work as a studio singer and songwriter. Pearce’s national career took shape in the late 2010s with the single Every Little Thing, which led to a self-titled debut album in 2017, rooted in contemporary country with traditional overtones. The albums Carly Pearce (2020) and 29: Written in Stone (2021) continue that thread, balancing ballads drawn from the artist’s personal life, radio-leaning mid-tempo tracks, and instrumentation that blends guitars, pedal steel, and subtle pop touches. Collaborations with the Josh Abbott Band and Lee Brice established her on the mainstream country scene while maintaining a strong connection to her Kentucky roots. Based in Nashville, Pearce now works in a space where intimate storytelling and themes of heartbreak, family, and female independence are central to today’s American country music.
