Ashley McBryde

Born in 1983 in Waldron and raised in Mammoth Spring in rural Arkansas, Ashley McBryde has over the years established herself as a distinctive voice in American country music, blending narrative songwriting, Southern roots and rock energy. Based in Nashville from 2007, she played numerous bar gigs and open‑mic nights before self‑releasing a debut self‑titled album in 2006 and 'Elsebound' in 2011, which set the foundation for a sound mixing traditional country, Americana touches and more electric guitars. Spotted within the Music Row scene, she signed with Warner Music Nashville and released 'Girl Going Nowhere' in 2018, an album foregrounding songs about small‑town trajectories, intimate cracks and everyday details. McBryde followed with 'Never Will' in 2020 and the collective, conceptual project 'Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville' in 2022, built around recurring characters, before returning in 2023 with the more direct, guitar‑led 'The Devil I Know'. A Grand Ole Opry member since 2022, she continues to tour heavily across the United States and Europe, alternating club shows, festivals and appearances on major country stages.
