Call Super

Active since the early 2010s, Call Super has been part of the British electronic scene with an approach that blends house, techno, ambient and more experimental forms. Call Super’s productions unfold through textures, rhythmic displacements and often indirect melodic lines, striking a balance between attentive listening and club use. After a series of maxi singles released notably on Houndstooth, Call Super released the album Suzi Ecto in 2014, followed by Arpo in 2017 and Every Mouth Teeth Missing in 2020 — three records that reveal a writing in motion, less focused on fixed formats than on the circulation between pulse, abstraction and sound collage. This approach also informs the DJ work, where Call Super constructs sets with smooth transitions, open to tempo variations, cross-genre intersections and non-linear selections; it is evident on fabric 92 (2017) and in A Rhythm Protects One, a mix made for Dekmantel in 2025. Alongside clubs and festivals, Call Super also develops work connected to dance and performance, notably the piece ROSE conceived in 2025 with Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar.
