ZAPRAVKA

An electronic duo formed in 2021, Zapravka brings together two friends who started out as DJs at weddings before shifting their activity toward production and the club scene. The Zapravka project became publicly visible through short videos on TikTok, where deliberately humorous tracks like « Как Джиган » and « Базарузиро » spread widely and established their identity at the intersection of techno, internet culture, and Russian-speaking references. After experimenting with drum and bass, hardstyle, bass house, and rhythms close to reggaeton, the duo gradually refocused their music on a direct, dancefloor-oriented techno built on pronounced basslines, simple vocal motifs, and immediately identifiable hooks, as heard on « Кислый данс », « Молодой » and « Techno-VIP ». This signature has enabled Zapravka to move from social media to clubs and festivals, with dates at Bootshaus Club in Germany and performances in Myanmar and Kuala Lumpur, while continuing to produce new techno tracks designed for live shows.
