Behind BEAUZ are brothers Bernie and Johan Yang, a Los Angeles–based DJ and producer duo rooted in club-oriented electronic music. Active since the 2010s, Beauz initially operated within a broad EDM palette before increasingly shaping their identity around a hard-techno aesthetic—more upfront productions, faster tempos and a focus on rhythmic impact as much as melodic effectiveness. This orientation, more pronounced in 2024, is audible in their remixes and DJ sets, designed for both festival stages and club rooms. Beauz performs regularly across North America and Asia, navigating a circuit that mixes general electronic lineups with events geared toward harder sounds. The duo is also developing the BADDIE UP universe, extending their presence beyond musical releases. Between festival culture, internet vernacular and accessible hard techno, Beauz today occupies a space at the crossroads of contemporary EDM and rave aesthetics.
