On October 12, 2026, Alison’s Halo arrives at Supersonic in Paris for a live show dedicated to dream pop and shoegaze. Formed in Tempe (Arizona) in the early 1990s around Catherine and Adam Cooper, the group left its mark on the underground with a sound full of contrasts: misty vocals, guitars that are thick yet airy, melodies that remain legible even when saturation takes hold. In the era of their early releases (the Slug and Halo cassettes, followed by the Dozen single), Alison’s Halo positioned itself among bands that linked fragile pop to a wall of sound, with songwriting more precise than it might seem. For a long time a well-kept secret, the band’s story continued through the Eyedazzler compilation (and its expanded reissue), and a return that began after the 2000s. A show for those who enjoy guitars that float, latch on, and eventually envelop the room.
