Altitude

Formed in Antwerp in 2014, Altitude operates within melodic punk rock rooted in the heritage of the 2000s, between fast tempos, direct choruses and a very physical live energy. The Belgian band first developed on the local DIY and punk hardcore circuit before expanding its activity to Belgium and then to several European stages, with stints in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Italy. Altitude has released several records on Funtime Records, including the City To City album in 2016, a split album with PMX in 2017, then Worship The Chaos in 2020, also distributed in North America by the Canadian label Punk & Disorderly Records. On stage, Altitude shares the bill with groups from the melodic punk rock and hardcore scene such as New Found Glory, Belvedere, The Kids or Authority Zero, and appears at festivals such as Punk Rock Holiday, Jera On Air and Brakrock. Altitude defends a compact, nervous and catchy sound, nourished by shouted vocals, taut guitars and a chorus sense that remains readable without abandoning the intensity of punk rock.
