I nearly titled this show 'The Pleasure.' And then I realized that the only pleasures one might think of when faced with a title like that would be pleasures forbidden to anyone under 18. But, for financial reasons, I want people under 18 to be able to attend my show as well. So I called it 'Delicious': it's a family show that will be presented at Theatre Libre on March 9, 2027 at 6:00 PM.
In one hour and twenty minutes, I will attempt to untangle the complexity of what provokes pleasure in human beings. Of course pleasure can come from a glass of Sancerre that you let linger along the banks of the Seine in spring. But it can also be provoked by the death of someone you do not love. Of course, an unexpected promotion within the company can bring joy. But also the act of eating Camembert in Camembert, or knowing that you do not pronounce the 'z' in Avoriaz (which lets you feel superior to all those who do not know it). My aim is that this show provokes in you a certain pleasure, in a mise en abyme of eating Camembert in Camembert.
