Info
On February 22, 2027, Will Young brings his pop-soul songwriting to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic in Liverpool for a live set built around the voice that’s defined his career since the early 2000s. First known to a wide audience through the debut UK season of Pop Idol, he quickly moved beyond the TV-frame with adult pop that leans into soul phrasing and sleek, electro-tinged production.
Expect a show that moves between upbeat, dance-ready moments and more hushed, intimate passages, the kind of contrast that runs through albums like From Now On, Friday’s Child, Keep On, Let It Go, and the more synthetic turn of Echoes. With later chapters like Lexicon, the cover-focused Crying on the Bathroom Floor (crafted with Richard X), and Light It Up, Will Young has kept refining that balance between classic melody and contemporary sheen. In a hall made for detail, his repertoire should hit with clarity: direct hooks, careful interpretation, and a delivery that never relies on volume to land.
