Info
On April 6, 2027, Jack Kays lands at Thekla in Bristol with his band for a live set built on the tensions he’s been shaping since his early SoundCloud days: indie rock nerves, hip-hop phrasing, pop-punk punch and emo rush, all in the same breath. On stage, the songs lean into that mix of melodic singing and sharper rap cadences, carried by guitars that never quite sit still and choruses designed to hit fast without smoothing the edges.
With releases that run from Morbid Mind to Mixed Emotions, the Voice Memos EPs and later cuts like Caffeine, plus the more recent Deadbeat! chapters, he’s been mapping out a direct, confessional lane where mental health, isolation and dependencies are part of the story, not just a vibe. Expect a tight band format—bass handled by his brother Austin—made for the rockier side of his catalog, but ready to switch gears when the beats and flow take over.
