Scene Queen

Active in the North American alternative rock scene, Scene Queen has been developing since the early 2020s a project at the crossroads of metalcore, pop‑punk, and electronic pop. The artist first gained attention online, notably via TikTok, before signing with Hopeless Records and shaping a world built around an aesthetic deeply informed by internet culture and an ultra‑feminized imagery she refers to as “bimbocore.” Scene Queen’s music blends heavy riffs, modern‑metal‑style breakdowns, and highly melodic choruses, with vocals that alternate between clean vocals, rapped passages, and occasional screams, while the lyrics directly address gender relations, beauty standards, and party culture. In 2022, the EP “Bimbocore” was released, followed in 2023 by “Bimbocore, Vol. 2,” which anchored Scene Queen in the contemporary emo and metalcore landscape while engaging with pop and hip‑hop. On stage, Scene Queen performs mainly within the punk, emo, and metal circuits, in the United States as well as in Europe, and occasionally undertakes collaborations, notably the track “Barbie & Ken” with the American band Set It Off.
