Info
On July 10, 2027 at Cardiff Castle, Bananarama bring their “Too Hot to Handle Greatest Hits Summer Tour 2027” to the stage, leaning into the run that took them from London’s post-punk edges to shiny, dancefloor-ready pop. Expect a set built for singing along, where punchy choruses and synth-driven grooves collide: from early staples like “Shy Boy” and “Cruel Summer” to the club-shaped era that delivered “Venus”, “I Heard a Rumour” and “Love in the First Degree”.
Altered Images add their nervy Glasgow new wave touch, powered by Clare Grogan’s unmistakable voice and those sharp, compact pop songs that defined their early-’80s run, from “Happy Birthday” onwards.
Tony Hadley completes the bill with the big, warm vocal presence that made Spandau Ballet’s mix of new romantic pop and white-soul balladry hit so hard, with room for solo material that nods to his swing and jazz side.
