Info
Kaiser Chiefs bring their Leeds-bred indie rock to Lincoln Castle in Lincoln on June 12, 2027. Built on sharp guitars, melodic keys and those big, shout-along choruses that made them a staple of the UK live circuit, the band’s set is the kind that moves fast and hits hard. Expect the punchy, rhythmic songwriting that put them on the map with Employment, plus tracks from the run that followed with Yours Truly, Angry Mob and Off with Their Heads, where pub-life details and everyday city scenes meet a clipped, post-punk-leaning drive. Later-era material broadens the palette without ditching the band’s core: politically tinted moments from Education, Education, Education & War, and the more pop- and electronic-touch updates heard on Stay Together and Duck. With Ricky Wilson out front, it’s a show designed for singalongs, momentum, and that tight band energy that’s always been their calling card.
