Info
Clou is a singer-songwriter, poet and illustrator. Trained at the conservatory in piano and voice, she pursues law and communications studies in parallel, complemented by a spell in the United States. It is in New York that she first performed her own compositions publicly and recorded her debut. Returning to France, she worked as an arts journalist and press officer before devoting herself fully to music. In 2014, she drew notice by finishing second in France Inter's radio-crochet contest. Supported by SACEM and Didier Varrod, she self-produces her first EP, which opens the doors to Because Editions and to numerous opening acts. She has notably performed alongside Camille, Benjamin Biolay, Vianney, and Sting. In 2020, she released her first album Orages, co-written with Dan Levy (The Dø). This work earned her a nomination at the 2021 Victoires de la Musique. That same year, she published Doux mots dits, an illustrated collection inspired by her adolescence, which received an award and was adapted for the theater. Parallel to this, she develops her work as an illustrator and participates in various artistic and collaborative projects. Faithful to collaborations, she has undertaken numerous duos in France and internationally. In 2024, she unveiled her second album À l'évidence and went on tour. She is currently preparing a third album as well as new musical projects.
