Info
On February 5, 2028, Salebarbes lands at Théâtre Manuvie in Brossard with its collective, road-tested take on Acadian and Louisiana-rooted folk. Built around shared lead vocals and tight group harmonies, the band mixes traditional Francophone repertoire with originals that slip easily between Cajun swing, folk storytelling, and flashes of country and rock. Their sound is driven by dance-ready rhythms and that unmistakable Acadian vernacular, keeping things earthy and direct without losing the pull of a big singalong.
Onstage, Salebarbes leans into the energy that made them known before the records: the live snapshot Live au Pas Perdus (2019), then Gin à l’eau salée (2021) and À boire deboutte (2023), each pushing the same idea further, where party music meets folk memory. Expect a set that feels communal, made to move, and carried by voices as much as by the groove.
