On 4 December 2026, The Damned check into the Watford Colosseum for 'Final Damnation 50', an event that brings fifty years of a singular trajectory back into the spotlight. Formed in London in 1976, they were among those who launched British punk at full speed: 'New Rose' as the kickoff, followed by Damned Damned Damned, before opening the way for tours beyond borders. Led by Dave Vanian and Captain Sensible, the band has never remained stuck in its initial sound. From raw punk to post-punk and goth twists, up to a dark and theatrical pop, The Damned have made evolution a method, without losing that sense of a riff that slams and refrains that bite. On stage, the spirit of Machine Gun Etiquette or Phantasmagoria blends with the urgency of the early days, for a set that spans eras without forced nostalgia.
