Info
Night School Records marks its 15th year with a one-night London showcase at EartH Theatre on 4 September 2026. A cross-section of the label’s orbit, the bill gathers Molly Nilsson, The Space Lady, Yu Ching, Whait and Maryjane Dunphe for an evening spanning minimal pop, dream-synth and exploratory song forms.
Molly Nilsson brings her Berlin-forged DIY pop: drum machines, lean synth lines and clear, direct vocals carrying lyrics that slip from the personal to the political. On stage, she keeps it stripped back and precise, letting melodies and words do the work.
The Space Lady, aka Susan Dietrich, channels decades of street-performing into a minimal, otherworldly set for voice and portable synth. Expect reimagined 60s/70s standards alongside originals, reframed with a gentle, cosmic hue and a lo-fi shimmer.
Yu Ching, a Taiwanese artist who began recording in Berlin, drifts between shoegaze balladry and slow-burning drones. She’ll play from her Night School album The Crystal Hum plus new material, marking her London debut.
Whait unites Wendy Eisenberg and more eaze in a duo that threads airy ambience, off-kilter songcraft and drone-rock textures. Their interplay moves between fragility and exploration. Also a London debut.
Maryjane Dunphe, from VEXX to CC Dust and beyond, now pushes toward pulsing, melodic pop with her album Stage Of Love. Live, she shapes songs into vivid, kinetic narratives driven by voice, synths and rhythm.
