Zazie

On 14 May 2027 at the Brest Arena in Brest, Zazie takes the stage with that blend of pop and wordplay that established her in the 1990s. A singer-songwriter who first came to prominence with Je, tu, ils and was then carried by Zen and Un point c’est toi, she went on to release Made in Love, La Zizanie, Rodéo, Totem and Cyclo, albums where rock, electro and acoustic moods intersect. Her writing, precise and playful, relies on imagery and double meanings, carried by direct melodies that settle in effortlessly.

On the program is a journey through her signature tracks and variations on that repertoire, developed with her musicians. Zazie favors clear articulation of the lyrics, crisp arrangements and a tempo that breathes, allowing the particular dynamic of each song to emerge. Without detours, she connects different eras, revisits certain pieces and slips in transitions that illuminate her way of writing as much as her singing. In Brest she brings together several decades of French songs filtered through her pen, mixing nods to her beginnings with more recent sequences, for a concert devoted to her discography.
