Duran Duran returns to Paris with the new wave and synth-pop blend that marked their beginnings in Birmingham. The band reunites Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John and Roger Taylor — the lineup that defined an electronic pop mixing taut guitars and danceable rhythms. From the early albums Duran Duran, Rio and Seven and the Ragged Tiger to the funk-pop inflections of Notorious and Big Thing, and on to the more electronic textures of Medazzaland, Paper Gods and Future Past, the trajectory remains the same: seeking a balance between clear melody and rhythmic pulse.

On 28 October 2026 at the Accor Arena, Paris, Duran Duran will present a panorama of these four decades, blending 1980s classics, more melodic 1990s tracks and recent material, up to Danse Macabre. Simon Le Bon’s voice, Nick Rhodes’s keyboards and the Taylor rhythm section establish a sound between pop, rock and dance, conceived for the live stage — from sweeping synth pads and solid basslines to razor-sharp choruses. It’s an occasion to take the measure of songwriting that has managed to evolve without losing its sense of groove.
