Jimmy Sax

Jimmy Sax extends his Toi & Moi tour with a format conceived as a face-to-face: saxophone in the foreground, electronic pulses, nods to pop, funk and soul, and a healthy dose of improvisation. Under the name Jimmy Sax, French saxophonist and composer Jim Rolland has for years explored a line between melodic house, deep and instrumental pop, pairing accessible themes with long, open passages. On stage he favors exchange, spontaneity and a dance-oriented aesthetic, while preserving a very organic sonic texture.

On 23 October 2027 at the Palais d’Auron in Bourges, Toi & Moi returns to essentials: intimacy with the room, live energy and suspended moments that make each date unique. The setlist remains open, motifs unfold, and the sax slips beyond its frame to converse with the beats and the audience’s reactions. Between laid-back groove and surges of intensity, the music flows unfiltered, alternating electro drives and acoustic timbres.
