Danko Jones hits The Garage, London, on 5 November 2026 for a night of straight-ahead, riff-first rock. Born in Toronto’s indie scene in the late 90s, the power trio led by singer-guitarist Danko Jones built its identity on fast tempos, compact songs and a raw blend of hard rock with punk bite and garage/blues undertones. From Born a Lion and We Sweat Blood to Sleep Is the Enemy, the band found its footing on European and North American circuits, and kept refining the formula across Never Too Loud, Below the Belt and Rock and Roll Is Black and Blue, before the recent run of Fire Music, Wild Cat, A Rock Supreme, Power Trio and Electric Sounds. On stage, the trio goes straight to the point: short tracks, driving grooves and lyrics circling love, desire and nightlife, played with the tight focus of a group that spends its life on the road.
