Info

FORM presents Embrace with special guests. On 17 November 2026 at Brighton Dome, the West Yorkshire band built around brothers Danny and Richard McNamara returns with the blend of melodic guitars, keys and a tense, heartfelt vocal delivery that marked their rise in the late 90s. With Steve Firth, Mike Heaton and Mickey Dale, Embrace emerged from the britpop and indie rock wave with early singles All You Good Good People, Fireworks and One Big Family, before sealing it with debut album The Good Will Out in 1998. Drawn from Memory (2000) and If You’ve Never Been (2001) leaned into a more restrained, introspective writing. After a break, the group resurfaced with Out of Nothing in 2004, featuring Gravity, written by Chris Martin, then This New Day in 2006. Back in action since the 2010s, they’ve added Embrace (2014), Love Is a Basic Need (2018) and How to Be a Person Like Other People (2022), holding to a spacious, melodic rock somewhere between post-britpop and pop rock. Live, they tap the whole catalogue, from 90s staples to recent cuts.
