Across the EPs Skin Purifying Treatment, We Never Got Strawberry Cake and Character Development!, then the 2021 album Fishmonger, she folds abrasive guitars, jittery electronics and tight melodies into songs with a clear narrative spine. That focus deepens on Wallsocket (Mom + Pop, 2023), a concept album set in a fictional Midwestern town that blends rock, folk, country and shoegaze within an electronic framework, extended in 2024 with the Director’s Cut and the single My Guy (Corporate Shuffle). On stage, underscores shifts fluently between laptop glitches and guitar-led urgency, drawing on years of DIY output and side projects that blur scenes and tempos.
