Utopia presents Dave Clarke + Aroh DJ b3b Okima b3b Goldfox + Fairyprincesswithmagicpowers

Utopia is a club concept with a blend of techno and electro, with a nostalgic flavor.

On April 30 at Het Depot, Utopia returns for edition ten with techno and electro and an old-school touch.

Dave Clarke (3-hour set)
Dave Clarke is a maverick, musician and photographer with an electronic vision, active for over three decades. Early championed by the late John Peel, who nicknamed him the Baron of Techno, he has been active since 1990 through his own productions, collaborations and remixes for artists such as Depeche Mode, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, New Order, Fontaines D.C., Soft Moon and Placebo. On April 30 he plays three uninterrupted hours.

Aroh DJ brings his 45Toeren protégé Okima and joins forces with host Goldfox for a back-to-back-to-back session.

Aroh channels his knowledge of electronic music into clubs and festivals. From his Kiosk residency to his role as founder of Kontakt Group and artistic mind behind Listen Festival, he is involved in the scene.

Okima is one of the driving forces behind the 96 movement, a selector at BRUZZ and a molecular and cellular biologist by day.

Goldfox has over 25 years of record collecting and explores 808-driven styles.

Detroit electro, broken rhythms and the darker side of techno and acid will be featured.

Fairyprincesswithmagicpowers is a Peruvian-Italian artist and performer based in Belgium, working across sculpture, scenography and sound.

Her DJ sets move between experimental electronics, Latin rhythms and textured club sounds. A recent laureate of 45Toeren, she blurs boundaries between art, ritual and rave.
