Gabriele Poso, percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and Italian producer, arrives at Djoon to present Maraviglia, his sixth album. Inspired by late‑1970s Italian disco, Afro‑Caribbean rhythms and a jazz sensibility, Maraviglia develops an organic, warm sound oriented toward groove. Recorded live to analog tape in southern Italy, the album blends percussion, Rhodes, Hammond and a brass section in a collective energy conceived as much for listening as for the dancefloor.
Alongside him, Raoul K, a DJ and producer born in Ivory Coast and a leading figure on the afro‑house scene, brings his singular universe mixing traditional African rhythms with contemporary electronic production spanning house, techno and afro‑beat. He is joined by Dawa Collectif, which embodies the new Parisian generation at the crossroads of Afro‑diasporic heritage and electronic music.
