Carpenter Brut

Carpenter Brut will be at the MeM in Rennes on October 22, 2026. A project led by French producer Franck Hueso, it fuses synthwave, electro and metal, with an aesthetic drawn from 1980s action and horror films. Sharp synths, tight, driving rhythms and retro‑futuristic atmospheres form a soundtrack‑like sound that is at once massive and precise. Revealed by the trilogy of EPs collected as Trilogy, Carpenter Brut expanded his universe with Leather Teeth, a faux glam‑metal soundtrack about the birth of an anti‑hero, followed by Leather Terror, a darker, more metal‑oriented second installment. On stage, the visual setup — lights and projections — reinforces a rock energy that adds depth to each track. At the MeM, expect a set that mixes signature tracks and new material, traversing the different facets of his catalogue, from synthetic themes to heavier passages, for a concert conceived as a total immersion in his retro‑futuristic grammar.
