Avec Panache, Alex Ramirès returns to examine that wobbly thing we call self-confidence—the kind we actually have and the kind we fake when necessary. After Sensiblement Viril, he throws himself back into the fray, searching for his place in the great parade of self-esteem, stuck somewhere between “worthless” and “king of everything.” On stage he unfolds a gallery of characters and everyday situations—those that bring up doubt, comparisons, and the little reflexes we hide from ourselves. A show about standing tall, failing sometimes, taking ourselves a little less seriously, and that famous panache we try to invent when everything starts to wobble.
