July Talk - Touch X Tour

July Talk bring their taut alternative rock to Vancouver with the Touch X Tour. Formed in Toronto in 2012, the band builds songs around the friction and dialogue between Peter Dreimanis's rough, lower register and Leah Fay Goldstein's clearer tone. The push between those two voices rides a guitar-bass-drums backbone that favors direct arrangements, blues-tinged textures and a pop bite shaded by post-punk. The self-titled debut set the tone; Touch in 2016 tightened the dynamics; Pray for It in 2020 opened the space and slowed the tempo; Remember Never Before in 2023 returned to punchier writing and steady rhythms. On stage, that back-and-forth stays central, with tension and release shaping each track.

July Talk play the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver on March 13, 2026 (868 Granville Street, V6Z 1K3). The set draws across their four albums, with the Touch X Tour threading older cuts and newer material into a show built on contrast, groove and the constant conversation between two voices.
