Grand Corps Malade

Grand Corps Malade returns to the stage with a set designed for live performance, between finely honed slam and understated melodies. Since his beginnings, Fabien Marsaud has forged a direct writing style and a distinctive phrasing, where everyday stories, portraits and the intimate intersect without artifice. His recent projects have multiplied collaborations and formats while remaining on that territory that blends spoken word and song, text and rhythm. On stage, his deep voice rests on a tight band, with piano, guitar and percussion arrangements, and on his way of delivering the words to create attentive listening—almost a one-on-one on a grand scale.

His 2027 tour crosses France, Switzerland and Belgium, with a stop at the Zénith de Saint-Étienne on 4 February 2027. It’s an opportunity to hear recent tracks and songs that have become touchstones, reworked for the road, within a clear staging that leaves room for the texts. No showmanship, just breath, storytelling and the musicality of the words, for a concert that carves its path between song and spoken poetry.
