Info

Déyyess sings about relationships between women, unrequited loves, queer joy and everything in between. Her alt-pop, threaded with shoegaze touches and rougher textures, extends beyond queer circles to reach listeners curious about new voices. Her EP Would You Go Down On A Girl blends forthright romanticism with restrained melancholy, driven by influences ranging from the Cocteau Twins and the Cranberries to more recent figures like Chappell Roan and Clairo. Direct songwriting, taut choruses, hazy guitars and raw, grainy production set the scene.

Born and raised in Canterbury, she affirmed her queer identity early on, encouraged by Lady Gaga’s support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Since then she has opened for Alessi Rose across the UK and Europe, performed at BST Hyde Park alongside Olivia Rodrigo, and played Reading and Leeds. She is preparing her first headlining tour on both sides of the Channel, with this EP as an unapologetic manifesto for a pop in which visibility is advancing.

Déyyess will bring this universe to La Boule Noire’s stage in Paris on 29 March 2026.
