Tia Gordon
Born in Kent, Tia Gordon began writing and composing at an early age, first quietly on SoundCloud before regularly sharing her tracks and covers on Instagram from 2019. Her music sits in a contemporary R&B register coloured by soul and pop, with direct songwriting focused on relationships, doubt, separation and self-construction. She opened her official discography in 2022 with the singles “Call Me” and “Price You Pay”, and continued in 2023 with “Cold Showers” and “On My Mind”. Around the same time she appeared on the BBC Introducing stage, including a Live Lounge session in 2022, then at the Lafayette for a Mahalia Presents date, and as support for Sidders at the Hootananny in Brixton. In 2024 Tia Gordon released her first EP, with love. x, a short format that extends her intimate approach, followed by the songs “Good Enough” and “Miss You”. Her second EP, wait! I have something to say. X, was released in 2025 and broadened her scope to themes of identity, family heritage and personal assertion. Alongside her releases, she has performed at London venues such as Servant Jazz Quarters and Omeara, and at festivals including Cross The Tracks and the Supafly Festival in Amsterdam.
