Devon Again

Based in Los Angeles and originally from Denver, Devon Again develops an alternative pop that blends intimate writing, catchy melodies and a tense, energetic production, with indie, electronic and hyperpop inflections. She begins to gain attention in 2020 by releasing original songs and duets on TikTok, before following up with a first batch of singles. Devon Again releases 'Suburbia' in 2021, then continues with tracks such as 'Burn Down' and 'All My Fault', which establish a universe that is at once direct and vulnerable, centered on direct choruses, digital textures and a supple vocal delivery, often placed between confession and tension. Her first EP, PEE, appears in 2022 and marks a step in the structuring of her project, tightening a quirky, concise and emotional pop aesthetic. In line with this emergence, Devon Again is part of a recent American pop scene where the boundaries between songwriting, internet culture and sonic experimentation remain porous, while maintaining legible writing and a strongly defined song format.
