La Maison Tellier

Info

La Maison Tellier, a Rouen-based quintet formed in 2005, returns with Atlas, their seventh album, which reaffirms their taste for folk rock blended with French chanson. On stage, voice and guitars lead the way before percussion, bass and brass take over. The new tracks, from “Atlas” to “Les douze travaux d’Helmut,” mix acoustic clarity with rough-edged electricity, featuring lyrics attentive to nature and its fault lines. One can hear echoes of Neil Young—without overt quotation—in the way acoustic and electric timbres are put into dialogue.

The concert is on May 21, 2026 at the Salle Jean Carmet in Allonnes. In concert, La Maison Tellier combines ballads and more electrified passages, five musicians serving arrangements that leave room for guitars, vocal harmonies and brass. The setlist moves between their earliest records and Atlas, placed at the center, forming a folk-rock throughline where storytelling steers the course and each song finds its place.
