Niotech

Originally trained on piano, Niotech developed his musical path in Karlsruhe, Germany, before settling in Berlin, where his project is now rooted. A producer and DJ, Niotech operates within a tense, frontal techno—characterised by strong rhythmic lines, a taste for dark textures, and constructions that still allow melodic momentum. The shift from an initially more harmonic training to electronic music is apparent in tracks conceived for the club but arranged with precision. Based in Berlin, Niotech also runs the label Whalien, which houses some of his releases and extends his artistic world. His activity follows a steady production rhythm, with releases on his own label as well as on other techno outlets. Niotech thus circulates in an electronic landscape focused on dancefloor effectiveness, without neglecting formal craftsmanship, developing a coherent project that links piano heritage, Berlin club culture, and contemporary techno writing.
