Ad Infinitum

Led by Swiss singer Melissa Bonny, Ad Infinitum began in 2018 as a symphonic metal project that quickly evolved from a solo initiative into an established quartet, completed by German musicians on guitar, bass and drums. Based between Switzerland and Germany, Ad Infinitum occupies a European scene where melodic metal, modern influences and a cinematic aesthetic intersect. The debut album, “Chapter I: Monarchy” (2020), established an identity centered on classical-inspired orchestration, pronounced rhythmic riffs and a contrast between clean vocals and growled vocals. With “Chapter II: Legacy” (2021), Ad Infinitum emphasized modern elements, reinforced narrative aspects around historical themes and refined the balance between melodic atmospheres and more aggressive passages. “Chapter III: Downfall” (2023) continued this approach, broadening the palette toward symphonic metal with colors occasionally close to gothic and power metal. On stage, Ad Infinitum primarily tours Europe, playing clubs and festivals, often featured on contemporary symphonic metal bills, and relies on a dark, theatrical imagery that extends the albums’ narrative work.
